This series has the best batter-pitcher interface, and graphics, but that's about all. The defense and base-running are terrible! It's pretty easy to use a conservative swing and go the other way, but the way the ball reacts after being hit is not good... I've been playing baseball games since the original RBI... I've owned and played at least 25 different bsaeball games, [but] this series is terrible!
Description of Triple Play Baseball
Triple Play Baseball is about as close as one could get to a hypothetical Extreme Baseball League (call it XBL). The game's Big League Challenge pits you against baseball's biggest sluggers in a home run contest, and Extreme mode will provide targets to challenge your timing and accuracy. Baseball purists, however, shouldn't be alarmed--Triple Play Baseball is still a very traditional game. It includes updated rosters, stats, and stadiums (including new additions Miller Park in Milwaukee and Pittsburgh's PNC Park). Toronto Blue Jays manager Buck Martinez and Jim Hughson provide the game's color commentary and play-by-play, respectively.All Games
