Customer Review: If you're gonna do a 1st person shooter...
Summary: 3 Stars

OK, I admit I haven't gotten far enough in the game yet to give a complete & fair assessment, but it has been frustrating so far. I actually rather liked Tommorow Never Dies (the game moreso than the movie--The World is Not Enough was a better movie than TND but neither top GOLDENEYE in Film or game format) myself... but if you're gonna do a 1st person shooter; SHEESH! The makers of The World is Not Enough could have taken a few lessons from the creators of Medal of Honor and MoH Underground for starters...much smoother weapons control in those 2 games; it took me awhile to get used to the all-digital control of this latest 007 game and left me longing for the inovative analog-digital combination of the MoH series...they DID however, adopt one convention from MoH that is annoying...namely the terrain is not nearly as destructable as it was in Tommorow Never Dies...no more blasting out full plate glass windows, overhead lighting, etc...at least not if the 1st mission in Bilbao, Spain is any indication. I LOVED that feature in Tommorrow Never Dies and similar games like Syphon Filter 1 & 2. Blowing things up was half the fun of Tommorow Never Dies...I feel robbed! Anyway, I may change my mind after I get along further in the game, but for now this latest James Bond game is a big disappointment.

Customer Review: Definately not GoldenEye
Summary: 2 Stars

Although this isn't a bad game, this game is a far cry from Nintendo 64's GoldenEye. It has no multiplayer mode, a limited arsenal and presents no real challenge. So if you've never played GoldenEye, you'll probably like it. But if you have, don't expect the same level of game play ( i recommend renting first)

Customer Review: non-stop excitement
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one the best 2-3 games I've ever played. It's action all the way through. The number of weapons and different exciting scenarios is enough to keep you rivited for hours at a time. Excellent use of the capabilities of the PS 1. A must buy.

Customer Review: One of the best first person shooters for the PSX
Summary: 5 Stars

I played tomorrow never dies and it wasnt too good. I thought this would be the same sort of game but i read previews and they said it would be better. It was, it has way more gajdits. It still is a little short though. I recommend this game for anyone who is a big fan of first person shooting games. This game doesnt have a multiplayer though. It doesnt bother me because i dont have anyone to play with anyways. So all in all i recommend this game.

Customer Review: shaken not stirred
Summary: 4 Stars

This game is excellent! Me being a Bond fan was immediately attracted to this title. This game is a great improvment on the 1st Bond title on the PSX. Changing from a 3rd person in Tommorow Never Dies to a 1st person in this game. With an array of different missions based on the MGM movie over 10 levels and a wide range of Q's finest gadgets, this game will have you cutting down bad guys with your trusty Walther PPK to your cuff-link lazer and with 2 challenge settings this game will have even the real secrect agents on their toes. If you want a action packed thrill ride with all the Bond glamour and of course the ever present gorgeuos women, do yourself a favour and try this game.
